Kathmandu and Pokhara tour that spans five days is quite an amusing trip. This cultural tour will help you get acquainted with diverse facets of Nepal and Nepalese culture. This carefully designed trip takes you to the major sightseeing destinations in Kathmandu, such as Durbar Square of Hanuman Dhoka, Buddhist Stupa of Swoyambhunath and Bouddhanath, Hindu temples of Pashupatinath and Changu Narayan. After Kathmandu, you will get to visit the famous cultural and religious sites of Patan like Patan Durbar Square, Mahabouddha Temple, Kumbeshwor Temple, Krishna Temple, Golden Temple, etc.

After sightseeing of Kathmandu and Patan, your next destination is Pokhara. Pokhara is a beautiful city and one of the most famous tourist destinations. Lying 200 km away from Kathmandu, Pokhara is overlooked by the beautiful Annapurna Ranges and spectacular snow-capped mountains. During the course of this trip, you will be guided to the most popular places in Pokhara like Phewa Lake, Begnas Lake, Rupa Lake, Mahendra Gupha, the Davis Fall, the gorge of the Seti River, etc. Your stay in Pokhara with Legendry Machapuchhre’s spectacular view as a backdrop amidst the enchanting ambience of nature, bestows you with an experience of a lifetime.

It is a panoramic thrill flying into Kathmandu on a clear day. The views of snow-capped mountain peaks sprawling down below you are almost ecstatic, beginning a whole chain of memorable experiences that stay with you for a long, long time. A representative and driver from our office will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. The representative will help you check into your designated hotel. At the hotel you will be briefed about your daily activities.
The second day of Pokhara and Kathmandu tour will be spent sightseeing in Kathmandu. After an early breakfast, you will be taken to the major sightseeing places in & around Kathmandu valley. Your guide will escort you to historic monuments, temples, monasteries, palaces and UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Durbar Square of Hanuman Dhoka, Buddhist Stupas of Swoyambhunath and Boudhanath, Hindu temples of Pashupatinath etc. As you travel along the exotic locales of Kathmandu, more diversified cultural settings in the valley welcome you with warmth and hospitality. At Swoyambhunath temple, you will gain an invaluable insight into Buddhism, Buddhist sect and Buddha Shakyamuni. At midday, we stop for lunch and then head towards Patan. As you explore Patan Durbar Square, Mahabouddha Temple, Kumbeshwor Temple, Krishna Temple, Golden Temple and many other places of Patan, you feel as if Patan has been unveiled before you as an open museum showcasing intricately carved windows, intrinsic roof struts, statues of gods and goddesses, temples designed in pagoda style with erotic carvings and repoussé metalwork facades and many other exquisite facets. You will also get to see handicraft centre in Patan. By the end of the trip you will be completely immersed in the beauty and richness of Nepalese culture.
On the third day of Kathmandu and Pokhara tour, you will drive to Pokhara for a sightseeing tour. After a hearty breakfast, you proceed towards Pokhara, which is 200 km away from Kathmandu. On reaching Pokhara, you will be escorted to the best resort or hotel of your choice. With majestic sights of snow-capped mountain peaks and exquisite beauty, Pokhara is sure to have you mesmerized. Pokhara is most popular for its lakes Phewa, Begnas and Rupa. Your trip includes visits to all these exotic places. You can go for boating on these famous lakes. Exploring the deep-seated mysteries of intriguing caves like Mahendra Gupha will further heighten your adventure spirit. You will then be guided to other sightseeing places in Pokhara like the Davis fall, the gorge of the Seti River and Tibetan refugee camp. (see note on flying option).
You fly or drive back to Kathmandu. After reaching Kathmandu, you can spend the rest of the day by indulging in independent activities of your interest.
Our Nepalese support team will take you to the airport for your flight home. On the other hand, if you prefer to stay longer, you can go for short tours such as Safari at National parks, Rafting, Muktinath Pilgrimage tour, etc. - ask us. As you depart Kathmandu, you will have lots of joyful memories of your Kathmandu and Pokhara tour.
